I attended Comic-Con this year and Marvel definitely had the most presence there. There were a bunch of hints about what is coming up in the future of the MCU, but these are some of the major takeaways that I got from how they portrayed their films to what was said by the actors who are going to be in them.
The Multiverse Saga
Marvel is currently working on an ongoing Multiverse Saga series of projects releasing new films and TV shows. The continuity of the entire series will culminate with the release at Avengers: Endgame, which releases April 26th.
Phase Five
Phase Four of the MCU will soon be coming to a close, but they also have many new projects planned for Phase Five. The movies and TV shows in Phase 5 will start with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and will include Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and The Marvels
Phase Six
The MCU’s six phase includes Fantastic Four in 2024, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty in 2025, and Avengers: Secret Wars in 2025. It is worth noting that the MCU has already introduced its main villain, Jonathan Majors’ “Kang the Conqueror,” who made his debut as “He Who Remains” in Loki.
