A mother knew that her daughter wouldn’t pick up the sock from the floor in their bathroom. After finding the sock, she left it there to see how long it would take before her daughter would put the dirty sock into laundry basket.
A week after Cambell moved the sock from its spot near the door, her daughter continued to put it in different creative places. So Campbell decided to turn their game into a project by making a miniature label with her daughter’s artwork.
The article author does not understand why the post went viral. They believed thoughts about parenting were commonplace, but I believe that due to the public’s fascination to see their celebrity heroes as perfect, they had an urge to see moms who struggled and made mistakes.
The viral post on Campbell’s blog has reached over 55,000 reactions and 136,000 shares. Moved by the amount of people who have followed her post, Campbell wanted to donate to a play-based therapy organization called Jumping Mouse Children’s Centre that helps children with trauma.
