Karlo Ferdon is a talented graphic designer, who started copying cartoons and comics when he was young. Later, he would create his own comic strips, which led him to becoming an artist.
His comics are minimalistic and they do not have dialogue. This all started a few years ago when he was invited to participate in alternative Batman comics.
SuperKarlo took on the task of parodying superheroes that he is his favorite, like Superman. “What’s great is that I don’t have to create them,” he said. “I just have to use their identity.”
When an artist connects with the reader it is rewarding. The connection creates a dialogue between the work and reader, which is what motivates Joan to continue his art.
